My Approach

I have a Master of Counselling degree (Monash University) and am a registered member of Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). I have experience in a range of areas including marriage/relationship issues, anxiety and stress, trauma, depression, loneliness, family of origin issues, parenting, grief and loss, personal growth and development, special need supports and chronic health related concerns. I enjoy working and supporting adults (15+years).

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I tailor my approach to meet clients' specific needs and draw on theory and therapeutic techniques from the three main branches of counselling: the humanistic school (Somatic Experiencing, Person-Centred and Existential); Relational Psychodynamics; and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). My mission is to meld traditional talk therapy with transformative mindfulness technique by incorporating gong bath meditation, conscious connected breathwork, and animal assisted therapy to help you find hope, clarity, inspiration and empowerment.

I am warm, caring and insightful. I am here to support your integration, and all of the various parts of your personality and being, into a balanced and joyful whole, made up of body, mind and soul.
